What color values use the least amount of ink when printing? May 3, 2010

I am hoping to run a website, and on this site I want to make files available for downloading and printing. I want these files to be in color, but I don’t want to cost my users a fortune in color ink usage. Are there particular colors that use less ink when printing? Can anyone provide me with other tricks to reduce ink usage?Submited by:Fervence Titlebreaker

No there isn’t
a printer releases the same sized drop of ink for each color. How much ink is used is dependent upon the image itself.
I tend to sell the lease amount of yellow cartridges, however that is probably because most people just don’t print in yellow heavily.
