Spray a generous amount of hair spray on it & blot don’t RUB the ink out of the carpeting.
I think Try a little rubbing alcohol. Try that first in an inconspicuous spot to make sure it doesn’t remove the color or damage it.
Though hairspray used to work well on removing ink stains, hairspray now contains some oils which could spread the stain, so I would only use that if the manufacturer of your carpet offers that as an option. (And please, do call them, as they can offer the best advice for your type of carpet).
my son knocked over a mini light and burned a hole in my carpet- I called the insurance company and got new carpet. My sisters dog vomited on hers- she called the insurance company and got new carpet. Call the insurance company.
If you have carpet in a closet- cut a piece out and place where ink spot is.
