How do I turn color ink into black on paper? May 4, 2010

Posted by Kuba in : Other - Visual Arts , trackback

I need to print a black-white contrast illustration, but my printer is out of black ink, and due to some confusion I got a new color cartridge instead.
Is it possible to print in color and turn the ink black somehow?Submited by:charmyisloved

I think you could try printing the image three times on the same paper but in a different color each time. But odds are it’s wont look black, more like brown.

If you have a CMKY cartridge printer, then change your image from 100%black (or K) into:

ONLY 100% Yellow, 100% Magenta, and 100% Cyan.

That will be the closest to black with what you have.

Good luck!
