How can ink be remved from a leather or vinyl handbag? November 25, 2009

The handbag is bone colored, and I don’t want to render it completely unusable. It seems that the ink went deep into the material.

well im not sure if this will work so i highly doubt u should do this but whenever i remove pernement marks i use nail polish remover; just dab a little on a napkin or so but im not sure if it would work on your purse. Good luck
I think Try rubbing the ink stain with isopropyl alcohol. If that doesn’t work use non acetone fingernail polish remover. Before doing either though, try a test spot on the bottom of the handbag or somewhere that doesn’t show.
