How can I control a network printer preferences from the remote computer? April 5, 2010

I have set up my printer on home network, it is attached to office desktop. When I want to print from remote laptop, I cant change the printer preferences. Specifically the print color, black or color option.

I think Have you installed the printer on the laptop locally and tested all needed features?
I think either go to your printer settings or change your firewall.
