i had the same message…..but there is a code you punch in an hey presto…they work again…mine been going strong for 3 years now
He’s right! Great printer for 2 years, then stops without notice, with a message telling you that the printer’s parts are at the end of it’s life! Had 3 now, all 3 lasted 2 yrs….then same thing. looking for a 4th cause I love the quality of print! Should be cheaper though for a 2-year printer. Wish the guy that said it’s easy to fix could ELABORATE! Epson says not cost -effective to repair. Hmmmm. Who’s BS should I believe?

I think Epson scanners and printers are shit, i have an scanner 3490, that has enormous microsoft and Abobe compatabillity problems.
My R200 printer clogs up and you cant replace the print head unlike CANON!
I bought an S20 Epson replacement and i replaced it in under a month because of cartridge compatibility problems, shit after care, and the fact that cartriges only print like 4 a4 pictures before running out.
I now have a Canon ip4500. best printer ive ever had.

So now the dumps are filling up with cheap computers, printers, cameras, and other cheap things from China to become a huge nation wide problem in trash up to our eyeballs. So, whats the government response to all this trash? They charge you a “Disposal fee” for every electronic item you buy now. So let me get this straight. We now have to PAY extra for this cheap shit coming out of china now!!!
