I think All us who are members of Amnesty International thanks you for this post!!! I love how the signatures rescue the people. Everyone that believes in Amnesty should become a member. Every member counts in making a difference when it comes to human rights. Thanks again.

i appreciate the intention of this video and the way it uses art in the service of human rights, but i am concerned that all of the “bad” people perpetrating violence are black or dark and all the “good” people/victims are white or light. this subtly and implicitly reinforces stereotypes and racism that contribute to injustice.

3. djurikom - January 16, 2010

I think It is Serbian, I am Serb so I should know.

4. smokvica5 - January 20, 2010

it is not serbian language

5. mindylinky - January 23, 2010

i hope so also

6. mindylinky - January 24, 2010

sad, but too long for a tv ad-should almost be a short movie

7. lacountess - January 26, 2010

All of it is the Soviet Union’s ‘s fault. When they occupied those areas they mixed up the lines to divide people of the same ethnicity. It was their strategy to prevent any uprising. Now those lines are all wrong and cause people of some ethnicity to have to live under someone else’s rule.

Please keep supporting the movement in Iran. An activist called Ehsan Fattahian is scheduled to be executed this Wednesday (Nov 11.) His crime “going against society’s values” and “being an atheist” Please sign the petitions that are out there to save him.

9. lamin013 - January 29, 2010

I think This is Serbian language.

10. TNitroxT - January 31, 2010

thats impressive

11. myasheed - February 2, 2010

I think Iran has one of the worst governments, and I hope it falls soon. The things they do to the youth for simply asking “Where is my vote?” are simply heart-breaking.

They only called it off because they feared that word would get out. The Iranian government is loaded with secrets…

12. FreeTaylish - February 6, 2010

Freedom for Talysh, Tats, Lezgin & Kurs in Azerbaijan.
REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN SUPRESSES ITS ETHNIC MINORITIES.
FREEDOM FOR TALYSH & TATS FROM TURK AZERBAIJANI SUPRESSION.
AZERBAIJAN IS TRYING TO TURKIFY ITS MINORITIES.
We have right to keep our own language & culture.
ASSIMILATION IS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.

‘But as when an authentic watch is shown,
Each man winds up and rectifies his own,
So in our very judgements.’

Beautifully expressed, it takes alot for an edvert to make me cry but this made me really let go.

I think it’s a mixture of the feelings for the people represented, and how it not only shows them touching on hope, but the advert as a whole touching on hope as well.

Should be on TV, hope this makes a difference however it’s broadcasted.

15. Irrsinn216 - February 11, 2010

We should remember that we are human beings and so we must protect the weak people, animals and the nature in general, with all what it includes!
Freedom to life!

21. GlowGloomyOrchid - February 20, 2010

i believe we still can do something…

in our own way, whenever we are…

22. sootykettel - February 21, 2010

From Times Online (January 8, 2009):

“The ICRC said that it had spent four days seeking Israeli guarantees of safe passage so that it could gain access to the houses in the badly damaged Zaytun neighbourhood” of Gaza city

“In one house they discovered four small children, alive but too weak to stand, next to the bodies of their dead mothers.”

“At that point they were ordered to leave by Israeli soldiers manning a post some 80 metres away!”

“but they refused to do so”

23. EddeGoaGespiektPeke - February 23, 2010

One of the most striking examples is the the stop of an Iranian’s court order to execute a minor on Christmas day for ‘disrupting the Society’, for which we gathered an impressive amount of signatures, and effectively hindered the execution, which was called of last-minute by the government, expressly mentioning the overwhelming amount of signature being sent to the Secretary of Justice.

24. EddeGoaGespiektPeke - February 23, 2010

To the one below – Your signature does have an influence, and to say it doesn’t is a cheap way to try to pretend you care but lack the social commitment to go ahead with it. I have been volunteering for Amnesty Int’l for a while now, and there are numerous occasions on which the collected signatures we have gathered have had a great impact.

25. sootykettel - February 25, 2010

I think An IDF morning over Gaza this is. The lucky ones are dead
Welcome to a vision from God’s chosen army: Operation Cast Lead

For non compliance with an open death sentence, over months and years
We’ve come anoint your misery with your childern’s blood and tears

An IDF tour de force, from air land and sea
Wont be televised this, because we run the BBC
